I suppose the problem is the same kind of problem we find it most of the MLP:FiM:FF comics: the main conflict and resolution aren’t exactly breaking any molds. In this case, the coach of the new team is a rather nasty piece of work but no one wants to confront him. Queue Rarity and her pony ways to set some things straight!

Still, that’s not the worst thing in the world. I’ve always championed the idea that a generic plotline told well is still worthwhile, and in the case of Issue 24 here, it’s done well. The comic is cute and fun, it hits the story beats it needs to hit in the right ways, and it concludes in a logical manor.

There are also a few little references to outside things as per most MLP comics. Award-winning? No. Fun? Yes. If you like your ponies extra cute, this one is worth picking up.
